Winter Hiking at the top of Dautica

We start from perhaps one of the most beautiful villages in Macedonia, Papradishte, thence through Kurtovica 1680 asl to Dautica peak.

The top has a beautiful strategic view. On the right is the top of Solunska Glava, on the opposite side is the Porece with Krushevo and Makedonski Brod, Pelagonija with the chimneys of REK Bitola, part of the Markovi Kuli in Prilep, behind the lake Kozjak in the Skopje region.

You can also see Baba and Pelister, Belasica and the massifs in Bulgaria, which means a great view in all four directions. We move down the winter trail, down the ridge to the plateau below the summit. From there to the top there is about 15 minutes of climbing on a steep slope.

IMPORTANT:

– The tour is for all climbers who regularly climbed this season.
– This is a medium hiking tour and it requires good psychophysical training and is not intended for beginner hikers!

NEEDED EQUIPMENT:

– psychophysical readiness for hiking in winter conditions

– winter warm clothing that protects against rain and wind

– winter gloves and hat

NUTRITION:

– 2 liters of water

– dried fruits, sandwiches, etc.

NOTE:

-Everyone goes at their own risk. The organizer reserves the right to shorten, modify, delay or cancel the tour if field or weather assessments warrant it.

-Each participant is obliged to respect the rules and guidelines of the organizer and the guides, otherwise alone is responsible for side effects;

-Any participant may be excluded from the group due to misconduct.
