One of the most popular one-day snow shoeing tours in Macedonia which is “a must”. Depends on the snow condition, snow shoeing usually begins one kilometer above Staro Selo, then we pass by the mountain hut Ljuboten where we have a tea break.
We climb the top by the northeast ridge. Going back is by the same way. On a way back we have а lunch in the mountain hut.Everybody has to know that the right clothing and equipment is essential for a successful mountain trip.
There will be some items and travel clothes which you will want to pack for the journey which will not be required on the tour in the mountains, so these may be left at your hotel and collected at the end, a light fold away small bag is useful for these items.
