As you now know Madeira Island is a canyoning paradise. As of that we have to offer a wide variety of beginners canyons all of them perfect to anyone that hasn’t had any (or have very little) experience with this activity and wants to have a first interaction to this adventure sport.
if you want to experience something adventurous or want to get out of your comfort zone this will surely awaken your wild side. You don’t need an extra set of skills or highly physical capabilities to participate on our beginners tours.
The beginners canyoning route is chosen by EPIC Madeira guides according to the specifics of weather, safety and season of the year. This first level routes take between 2H30 to 3H00 to accomplish (depending on the rhythm of the group it can differ). All the routes comprise rappelling, swimming and jumping (optional).
